I don’t think it was any one thing, just a general decline in the discourse toward a less wholesome and family friendly tone. Pretty much the usual for the internets when moderation isn’t entirely on point. I cannot comment on whether I contributed to said decline on grounds that I may incriminate myself.
Anyways, looks like the mods are just getting a handle on things before they devolve to far, and I say “more power to 'em”. Well, at least I say that to their faces… then I go stand outside with my sign and protest 'em.
What’s the sign say? Eh, depends on the day of the week. It’s Monday, so probably something about decaffeinated coffee, and sarcasm.
