I wonder if we’ll ever get an extended cut of the movie?

It’s not a bad watch, but there are better episodes. I read an article on some of production details, and it sounded like a headache. It definitely slips right in as an additional episode, just cut different.
I dunno, I also liked the first X Files movie, too, and that seems to be a polarizing film for fans.
I liked it, but I feel like the Netflix revival has more heart. But I liked it!

I’ve pointed that out numerous times and recently picked up a copy of the movie for a buck at a garage sale. Nice print. The runtime is 66 minutes! IMDB says 86, the back of the box says 1:26, but there was a shorter cut floating around done by Castle (who I believe did a number of shorts that were riffed as well).
I have to see if the longer cut is on the disc somewhere. It’s a nice print!
